Miyetu Tree Foundation (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data this website collects and how we use it, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
When you use our contact, volunteer, newsletter or donation forms we collect the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number, message and, for donations, the amount and fund you chose. We do not store card or M-Pesa details. Card and mobile-money payments are handled by Paystack on its own secure pages.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to you, to arrange volunteering, to send our newsletter if you subscribed, and to record and acknowledge donations. We do not sell your data.
Who sees it
Our management team and, for payments, Paystack. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and donation records for as long as needed for our work and for financial record-keeping, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to unsubscribe from the newsletter, at any time by emailing [email protected].
Cookies and security
The site may use essential cookies and, when switched on, a Cloudflare or Google bot-check on forms. Forms are protected against spam and forged requests.
