About Us

Miyetu Tree Foundation

Based in the heart of Kawangware, Nairobi, MIYETU Tree Foundation operates as a dynamic grassroots environmental organization committed to fostering a greener, more sustainable future for Kenya. Our mission is built on the pillars of active environmental conservation and strategic tree-planting initiatives designed to restore local ecosystems and combat the growing threats of urban deforestation. Beyond physical restoration, we are deeply invested in climate change education, empowering community members with the knowledge and tools necessary to become resilient environmental stewards. By bridging the gap between global climate goals and local action, MIYETU Tree Foundation works tirelessly to transform our landscapes and inspire a collective responsibility for the planet we all share.
