Schools Greening Program
The goal of the program is to promote environmental conservation and climate
resilience by rescuing and rehabilitating trees marked
for disposal and redistributing them to schools for
planting and environmental education.
Objectives
- To reduce environmental waste by collecting and rehabilitating trees
that would otherwise be discarded.
- To increase tree cover in schools and improve green spaces within
learning institutions.
- To promote environmental education by involving students and
teachers in tree planting and maintenance activities.
- To build partnerships with organizations, institutions, and individuals
willing to donate trees for conservation purposes.
- To nurture a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship
among young learners.
